cert-manager

cert-manager is a powerful and extensible X.509 certificate controller for Kubernetes workloads.

cert-manager will obtain certificates from various popular public and private Issuers, ensure the certificates are valid and up-to-date, and attempt to renew certificates at a configured time before expiry.

cert-manager was accepted to CNCF on November 10, 2020, and moved to the Incubating maturity level on September 19, 2022, and then moved to the Graduated maturity level on September 29, 2024.

cert-manager was moved to the trial ring in the Thoughtworks Technology Radar in March 2022.
